You may have heard of the pinning feature on Medium. Many writers use it to get more traffic to their stories. Most writers pin their most popular stories to attract more viewers and get more views on that stories. But I pinned all my stories that have more fans.

For the past few months, I had my two viral stories pinned on my profile’s top. But a few days ago, I decided to pin all the stories that have more fans instead of those stories that have gone viral.

I pinned the stories that have more fans because of a reason.

The reason is that the stories that have more fans are the most popular and most favorited stories of your profile. I learned this from a very talented fellow writer Kristina God. She explained the importance of fans in your story stats. You can read it below.

So, After understanding the importance of fans, I decided to pin my stories that have more fans.

I will also try to change my pinned stories every week. I am planning of doing it to get many views on many different stories.

So, after a week, I will change the stories that are not getting views with some new ones. And leave the stories on my profile’s top that are attracting some readers and fetching views for me.

I will be doing it for a month or two and then I will notify you about the results.

I hope to complete it successfully. Wish me the very best of luck.
