I Made Over $1448 On Quora Without Being Part of The Partner Program

No, I am not in the Quora Partner program, but there are other ways through which you could make money writing on Quora. If you don’t know about Quora then it is a Question & Answers based platform where you can ask questions, answer questions, read other people's answers and engage with their answers. Right now, they have also started another feature with the name of “Quora spaces” which is the equivalent of Medium Publications or Facebook open groups.
When I joined Quora, I have zero English skills, my first answer get 50 views with no engagement at all. In 2017, Quora doesn’t have ads so when a user goes to the site, all he sees is the Question with great answers. Back then, there were very few writers on Quora and most of the people who there just to read. The platform is still a success and has twice the number of views as compared to Medium.
The power Quora has is its ability to give everyone the right to add an opinion about a question. Quora has a partnership with the major brands including Entrepreneur, Forbes, BusinessInsider, The Vox, and other big publications. These big publication have a great domain authority (highly favorable by the search engines) so getting a link from these sites give you the edge over all sites, that’s why Quora has a great search engine optimization.
Because of this great backlinking strategy, you can see Quora questions get ranked on Google. More then 70% of the Quora traffic is from the search engine, most of the famous writers on Quora recalled their stories where they claim that they have discovered Quora by searching something on Google.

The first thing to do is to find an answer that is ranked for the keywords you have a blog post. A blog post about a certain topic is the long-form explanation of a case while an answer, in most of cases is just 150 to 250 words in it.
Write an answer about it and add the following things to your answer to make it on top of every possible answer. According to my Quora statistics, 80% of all the traffic goes to the answer on 1st position. So, how you can make your answer appear on top of the question.

Recently Quora introduced a new feature with the name of the Quora spaces. Quora space is like Medium publication, you can add links of your blog posts, add questions and posts like your do on Facebook. Here is how you can create a Quora space.
One Indirect way to increase your Blog Traffic
Getting links to embed in the page that ranked on the top 10 positions for a keyword is a good sign. If you have a similar article then you get ranked for that keyword too.
This is why backlinking is the most important factor in search engine optimization. When I have great backlinks (Most of the backlinks from the social media sites are tagged as “Nofollow”, which means that these sites telling the search engine that we don’t recognize that these links are trustworthy) Google ranks my blog post for that keyword too. This was the reason behind getting good search traffic.
Monetize your blog with Affiliate links and CPA links. For blogs that use PPC Ad networks as a Money making resource, Quora might not work very well for you.
Advantages for blogger through Quora
- You can link back your YouTube videos and Quora will drive hundreds of viewers to your videos every month. Links from the Medium, YouTube and other trustworthy sites are always there.
- Quora has over 450 Million page views in the Month of February which is twice the pageviews on Medium.
- Impart Quality in your answers otherwise, you will just waste your time on Quora. Their system will recognize it and may terminate your Quora account.
- Try to get access to make yourself a Quora space. Quora space is a great way to get an evergreen and highly targeted traffic. At the time of writing this Medium story, I have a Quora space with over 41k followers and most of those people are also medium members, so a win-win situation here.
- Use it as a social media site. Spammer not allowed on the Internet. You can be part of the community and find a way to get your targeted audience to read your stuff.
How I made money with those views from Quora on my blog?
I have Google AdSense as a part of the monetization of my blog. The total traffic was 181,000 which gives me a CPM of $8, an $8 CPM means that I was making $8 per thousand views. Translating these 181*8 which equals $1448.
