    </div><p id="53ab">So, this morning when I saw that I earned my monthly subscription to Medium in just 2 weeks, I was stoked!</p><p id="d7c3">I didn’t actually set a monetary goal for my first month here, but I was hoping to recover the cost of subscribing. And yay, I did it!</p><p id="8ef8"><b>How do I think this happened?</b></p><ol><li><b>Pure volume </b>— The more content you put out there, the more chances you have of it getting read. Spoiler: I was able to pull a lot of articles from my blog to beef up this page. I have published 64 stories in 3 weeks here on Medium.</li><li><b>Perseverance</b> — I still have many stories that don’t have views or have very few views. I could let that get me down. Or, I can keep trying, which is what I’m doing.</li><li><b>Engaging with others</b> — You can’t just expect others to flock to your page initially if you don’t put in the work of supporting other writers. Another exciting milestone was crossed when I woke up this morning. Exactly $5.01 in earnings so far from the Medium Partner Program.

WOW! I’ve been blogging for 15 months and this is the best success I’ve had with earning money. That is mainly due to my lack of knowledge about monetizing blogs in the first place.

However, I’ve been working on my search engine optimization there and the traffic is growing. Hopefully, I’ll see big earnings this month there as well!
