I Made it to 50. Let’s Have a Party.

Still a newbie, but making my way

No, it’s not my birthday.

I still have a decade before I celebrate that 5–0.

I made a goal of publishing 50 articles on Medium this year.

Kristina God politely dismissed my goal and encouraged me to write more in order to learn faster.

That made me uncomfortable. But I did it. This is my 50th article.

I wrote some pieces that I’m really proud of, some that were silly, and several that made me cringe with embarrassment.

But I kept going. I even made friends along the way!

What’s next? Ummmmm…..write some more?

Strive for curation or Top Writer or publication in a bigger journal?

The only advice you need on Medium:

Keep writing.

Shout out to my Medium friends, Boot Camp comrades, and kind readers who keep me going:

Melissa Marietta, Teresa Morillas, Dawn Smiles, Mario López-Goicoechea Holly Hunter Morley, Scot Butwell, Scott Ahlsmith, Nancy Blackman, Sam Ochstein, Sarah J Clarke, Linda Locke, Kristina God, Lucy Socha, Sarah Lyall, Patricia Ross, Amy Von Blickhahn, June Kirri, Janet Meisel, Charisse Tyson, David Perlmutter
