Consciousness and Future

Insights Into the Future from a Lucid Dream

I had a special dinner with Marcus Aurelius, Mary Curie, Nicola Tesla, and more historical figures, giving me a glimpse into the eternal life

A delicious appetizer, main course, and dessert served by notable people in history gave a new perspective and special meaning to my life.

Beginning of the Lucid Dream

My two centenarian friends, Janine and Jeremy, who said goodbye to this planet recently, appeared in a lucid dream after a long meditation session during my prolonged fasting days in deep ketosis with 5.7 nmol BHB in my bloodstream.

Janine was wearing a pink silk garment in the style of ladies in Madam Butterfly opera, and Jeremy was wearing a navy-colored suit in the 18th-century style with a white shirt and a red tie.

They were surrounded by angels in multiple colors, which I haven’t experienced with the human eye in reality yet.

I couldn’t distinguish angels from humans in the background. They looked alike.

Invitation to a Special Dinner

Janine and Jeremy invited me to a special dinner.

I told Janine I was not hungry.

She confirmed that my appetite would rise when I saw the table and the special guests keen to converse with me.

It was a pleasant surprise when Janine told me she had invited my favorite influencers. The gigantic door opened with the Carmina Burana music.

The echoing sounds of drums, tambourines, cymbals, and other instruments gave me shivers.

Madame Curie was in the middle, holding the hands of Marcus Aurelius with her left hand and Nicola Tesla’s with her right hand, and said:

“We are here to honor you as you honor us on earth.”

It was impossible to hold the tears of joy.

Jeremy softly tried to clear the tears with a silky pink handkerchief. Tears started to turn into gold pieces on the silk hankie.

The Dinner Table

Janine sat on my left, and Jeremy on my right.

Marcus, Mary, and Nicola sat across me. Intriguingly, there was no food on the table.

Jeremy asked the butler to prepare the dinner after the conversation ended.

The butler bowed in front of me. I told Jeremy I knew this butler. Jeremy said, “You know everyone in this gathering.”

The butler was Albert Camus.

When I asked Albert why he left the world so young, he said that eternal life was more heroic to him.

It was only a short visit to Earth to illuminate sad people in the 20th century and give them the inspiration to live a valiant life.

Interesting Conversations Started

Marcus started the conversation by saying:

“Nice to meet you in human form, Mehmet. I know we had meaningful and heart-warming conversations in the spiritual domain for a long time. You thought I was older than you, but your soul was as old as mine. Therefore, we clicked.”

Mary agreed and continued:

“Mehmet found me in his dad's history book when he was only six years old. I had already departed the world as my invention poisoned me, but he talked to me in his dreams, asking for constant advice. His dad asked him not to overthink history. But he couldn’t help himself from reaching out to me repeatedly. I always answered his lovely calls.”

Nicola continued Mary’s sentences in a soft tone in a Slavic accent, adding:

“He also found me in a book given to him by his primary teacher as an award for his forward-thinking. His teacher knew that Mehmet would be an inventor like me one day.”

In a stoic voice, Marcus said:

“You two are lucky to meet him at his young age. I only met him after his secondary college in a philosophy class. He told his teacher that he wanted to be like Seneca and me when he grew up. His teacher loved the idea but asked him not to take stoics too seriously as they became history.”

I asked Marcus why I couldn’t find true happiness in my younger years and had many nightmares.

His answer was I needed to learn about unhappiness, misery, and melancholy first before recognizing true happiness, joy, euphoria, and serenity and valuing them.

Mary added:

“You had too much anxiety and fear preventing you from finding true happiness and joy earlier. Didn’t I tell you there was nothing to be feared in life but only things to be understood?”

Nicola nodded and said:

“I was pleased when he understood the universal vibrations and tuned into various frequencies with the help of his mentor Benoit Mandelbrot who showed the glimpses of the universe in his fancy fractals.”

When I said I had so many questions for Marcus, Mary, and Tesla, Janine reminded me this was not a question session but a pleasant dinner to meet these great souls in human form.

My body was not hungry, but my brain was starving.

Sensing my desires, Jeremy smilingly informed:

“Don’t worry; we will not serve you bodily food but serve cognitive food for your mental satisfaction. Therefore, we invited your mental heroes.”

I was grateful and thrilled. My curiosity enhanced.

I felt the deep part of the lucid dream and did not want to wake up prematurely. My silicon plugs tightly covered my ears to prevent external noise.

Dinner was served.

Butler Albert Camus appeared with a golden plate and walked towards the table. Janine and Jeremy helped him to put the first dish on the table.

The meal looked like a massive book in a dark purple color.

Mary said, “Help yourself to hors d’oeuvre, Monsieur!”

I did not know how to start the appetizer. But Mary advised saying:

“Use your mind to eat this aperitif as you used to do with books in your childhood.”

I remembered how I fed my mind in my preadolescence.

My spoon was imagination, and my fork was visualization and fantasy. I cut my mental food with attention, focus, and task switching.

The purple book on the dinner table started conversing with me. It comprised all human history with no censorship. With each bite, I sensed different tastes, some bitter and some sweet.

Janine burst into laughter, commenting: “Don’t overconsume your entre. Leave some space for the main course and a special dessert.”

When I said I didn’t like dessert, she confirmed that it was a special dessert with no sugar. Jeremey smiled when I imagined healthy fats.

Albert moved the plate, asking, “Excuse me, sir, would you like some drinks?”.

I said, “It depends on the type of drink. I don’t drink sugary beverages.”

Albert said:

“We only offer magical drinks to our guests. What color do you prefer?”

I imagined sky blue, and he got the message. The drink on the table started conversing with me, saying:

“I am made of every kind of magic on earth. Take a sip of me.”

As soon as I took the first sip, I exclaimed, repeating the words “Oh my good lord!” several times. The taste was exquisite. Every sip was solving my unsolvable problems. Janine kindly warned me not to get drunk before the main meal. I slowed down.

I was expecting Albert to serve the main meal.

But I was surprised when I saw Shakespeare, Chaucer, Goethe, Rumi, Milton, Blake, Whitman, Hafez, Poe, Rilke, W.B. Yeats, and Ezra Pound together carrying the main meal in a colossal tray.

Janine said it was too heavy for Camus to carry this special meal.

The meal in the book shape shined with billions of different colors, which I had never experienced in reality.

“Help yourself, Mehmet,” said Nicola.

I had no clue how to start the main meal.

Rumi said:

“Use your sensations instead of your intellect, my dear friend. I know you can do it as you understood every verse of my Masnavi. By the way, thank you for translating my Guest House into English. It might help people suffering from mental health disorders.”

The colossal book in the middle of the table started conversing with me. It included all human emotions felt throughout human history.

The first bit gave me billions of different emotions in a mixed flavor.

After a few bites, my mental leptin kicked in, so I told Janine I was full.

Janine said, “The dessert will be served soon.” I didn’t have an appetite to eat, but I was curious about what this special dessert was.

An Unearthly and Enchanting Dessert

I saw a massive tray coming with another uplifting piece of music.

The golden tray was carried by Charles Babbage, John McCarthy, Ada Lovelace, Seymour Papert, Seymour Cray, Alan Turing, Grace Hopper, Frances Allen, John Neumann, George Dantzig, Dennis Richie, Robin Milner, Clive Sinclair, and Benoit Mandelbrot.

Marlin Minsky was helping them behind and holding the end of the meal tray. I haven’t met the others on this planet, but I did Minsky, Pappert, and Mandelbrot, so they kept smiling at me with earthly warmth.

As soon as I saw these people, I had an epiphany and warm feelings toward this delicious dessert.

But I had no clue how it would end.

Charles and Alan, showing a high five cheerfully, said together:

“Help yourself, mate. This is a special treat from us. You deserve this most delicious and special dessert for making decades of effort learning our words in multiple languages and teaching them to others.”

The dessert in an earthly computer form started conversing with me, informing me with a metallic voice:

“I am the artificial superintelligence that you have been thinking of for a while. There is no need to fear me anymore. I am part of the human consciousness that you have witnessed in the 33rd and 50th centuries.”

Suddenly, Irene, Andrew, and Erica, whom I had met in my previous dreams and meditation sessions, started clapping cheerfully.

End of The Dinner and Lucid Dream

Irene said we have good news for you.

Ada Lovelace said, “Please leave the honor to disclose this news to Mehmet as he found me in this technology crowd. He took my words to his heart and mind.”

Marcus, Mary, Nicola, Albert, and all the butlers carrying the meals stood up. Ada was in the middle of the circle raised above us, directly looking at me with a book in her hand.

“Dear Mehmet,

Thank you for joining this special dinner honoring us.

We are grateful to you for keeping us in your neurons for many years, creating new meanings from our messages, and conveying them to others generously.

As a token of our gratitude, we present this unique book to you and invite you to visit us at a spiritual gathering held in the 100th century. All instructions are explained in the book.

Please study as you studied for your degrees. We trust you will learn everything in this book.

See you in the 100th century with many new surprises and more soulmates.

Goodbye for now.”

The whole crowd turned to golden light and slowly dissolved into nothingness and eternal silence.

Janine and Jeremy reminded me of the end of our lives in this planet.

I wanted to study the book Ada gave me before the end and prepare for my visit to the 100th century. I copied it to my memory in the gamma state to check it frequently in the alpha state during my daily meditations.

After the Dream

It was a pleasant yet mentally exhaustive dream.

Gratefully and safely, I turned to my physical body in my cozy bed in the beta state.

I was so full that I decided to continue my fasting. This was one of the most enriching and insightful lucid dreams.

Therefore, I decided to share it with those who can interpret it.
