I Give up… I’m Starting My Own Pubs on Medium!
Better late than never! 👴
Oh Hello, Hello my Medium world! 🌎
A few months before, before temporarily quitting the platform, I wrote about my view on Medium publications:
And today I’m starting a few pubs of my own, so please take your time and check them out: 🤞

- Long. Sweet. Valuable. — Valuable and long (300+ words) stories.
- Welcome Back to the Platform! — stories about Mediumers coming back to Medium.
Note: Right now I will accept not only drafts but old already published stories too! So if you have some awesome self-published stories, consider adding them to one of my pubs. Thank you! 🙏
Why?
There 2 main reasons for that:
- I want to try and learn new things about Medium itself. So managing publications and finding out how they work will definitely give me more experience.
- Submission times. I am tired of submitting stories to some other super large pubs and then waiting for X days until my story is actually published. Or declined. It’s really nerve-wracking and to be honest, I really don’t see that much difference in views, claps or reads when using them. So I will try to use my own pubs as a little experiment and maybe then my stories will get more attention.

I know that it might be unrealistic, but if you want to write for one of my pubs — you are more than welcome to do that! :)
