A late famous philosopher by the name of Nipsey Hussle once said:

It was visionary, either I’m genius or you scary Maybe it’s both and this balance I deliver daily

Some of the most successful people on this Earth was all labeled as “crazy” at some point. I mean, you can bring up names like Kanye West, Steve Jobs, Jay-Z, LeBron James — shit you even had the field negroes that were called crazy by the house negroes because the field negroes wanted to rebel against their white slave owners.

You want to know why people usually don’t achieve their goals in life, it’s because they let fear hold them back so they spend their entire lives playing it safe.

It’s the fear of failure. The fear of taking a chance of achieving something that seems impossible. The fear of taking the chance of falling flat on your face and having people around telling you, “I told you so!”

That fear is instilled in all of us, including me.

Then, January 2021 came. That’s when I faced my fear, spit in its face, push it out of my way, and became brave.

That was the moment I quit my job and pursued my passion for writing.

It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows though. I struggled, lost sleep, went through some bad experiences, but I remained consistent throughout it all. Now it’s 2022, and it’s finally starting to pay off.

I knew this journey wasn’t going to be easy, but as the old saying goes, if it was easy, everybody would do it.

Thank God I’m not everybody.
