Gratitude: How to Embody the Energy Needed to Transform Your Life
Do this unique gratitude practice.

If you want to transform your life, you must transform your relationship with life itself.
Our relationship with life (and all it encompasses) can be defined by how we think and feel. It’s the overall vibe we embody as human beings.
For most people, the most direct way we change our vibe is moving away from lack and into a state of “having” or abundance. This is done through gratitude.
Gratitude carries the key energetic signature to raise your vibration to match the energy of what you wish to transform in your life.
How do we step into gratitude?
While keeping a gratitude journal, reciting affirmations, or silently recounting all the things you are grateful for are great ways to boost gratitude. There is a practice more powerful and takes you right to the source of gratitude’s magic.
Remember, gratitude is an emotion. It must be felt in the body and not just stated in the mind. It must be experienced as a state of being to wire in its energetic signature.
Gratitude is about revealing what is already there.
Every spiritual text has told us this from the beginning of time. What you seek is within you. The kingdom of heaven lies inside. You are already perfect. We might understand this intellectually, but we must experience it tangibly and viscerally if we want it to transform our lives.
We do this by creating a ritual of getting into our bodies and paying deep unbridled homage. Not with our mind, but by using our felt senses. We feel into the splendor that is our body, and allow that to be the fuel to generate the feelings of gratitude.
How to turn this into a formal practice.
First, ask yourself the following.
- What is the relationship with your body?
- What is the relationship with your five senses?
- What about your arms and legs?
- What about the relationship to all the processes and functions your body carries out, most of which you are unaware of?
This might seem like a strange concept to consider, but have you ever thought about it?
You may not realize it, but your body is your friend and trusted confidant. It supports and sustains you. It enables you to experience this life. Even if it seems like a source of dissatisfaction or discomfort at times, it’s a gift that is always working to give you more life.
Now, consider the following.
Imagine you were deprived of sight, and now you are seeing with your eyes for the first time.
Imagine you received air coming into your nostrils after being deprived of air for a few minutes.
Imagine you were lost in a desert for what seems like an eternity — famished and thirsty. How grateful would you be if you were finally given a drink of water? How grateful would you be to find nourishment by eating Mother Earth’s fruit?
Imagine you were entrenched in darkness for a long time. Then one day, you opened your eyes and saw the light.
Would you want to kiss the sun?
Imagine you were locked in a cave since birth and never heard a bird chirp or the crash of the ocean. You never felt the sun on your skin or the wind in your hair.
Imagine living in silence, then hearing music for the first time. How would you feel? Would you thank your ears?
When cultivating gratitude, these are the states of being you want to tap into and become very familiar with.
Practice this regularly, and the way you experience life will change dramatically. Everything from the way you meditate to your ability to manifest your goals to how you drink your morning coffee will be transformed.
Try it, and report back.
Namaste!
