Which factors do I have to consider to attract as many readers as possible as an online writer in order to earn as much money as possible?

Like most other writers, I probably asked myself this question at the beginning of my work here on Medium.

One of the best answers to this question was this tweet from Naval. For me, his formula for success has been confirmed.

Solving Problems Is Key

If you want to earn money, you first have to understand what money is and what functions it fulfills.

The three main functions are the following:

Store of value.
Medium of exchange.
Unit of account.

Money, therefore, stores value. So if we want someone to give us this store of value, we have to offer them something in return. Almost everything we buy, we buy because it solves problems:

We want to get from A to B faster and more independently. So we buy a car.
We want to lose weight. So we buy diet pills.
We want to go running regularly. So we buy running shoes.

The Same Applies To Medium
