Summary

The article discusses the journey of discovering divine love within oneself, emphasizing that love is an intrinsic part of our being and not just a temporary emotion dependent on external factors.

Abstract

The article "How to Discover Your Inner Being of Divine Love" explores the concept of love as more than a fleeting emotion but as a fundamental aspect of our innate being. It argues that while love can be painful when attached to external sources, it is ultimately a purifying force that leads to the realization of the divine love within us. The author suggests that the super-intelligent human species is drawn to love because it connects them to their true essence, which is love. The world acts as a mirror, reflecting our inner state, and our reactions to it reveal the quality of our love and our overall mental state. The article advises that rather than seeking love externally, one should remove the layers of expectations, jealousy, and possessiveness that obscure the pure love inherent in all of us. By doing so, individuals can experience the freedom and bliss that comes from being love, rather than being in love, and can live a life of authentic expression and deep experience.

People say love is blind because they do not know what love is. I say unto you, only love has eyes; other than love, everything is blind. — Osho

Once I told my spiritual mentor that ‘love’ captured me again.

He looked at me and said, “Try to find a balance in life. Your heart is super active. Try to use your mind as well.”

It confused me.

A drunkard can never understand the warning, esp when love intoxicates your veins.

But he knew what I didn’t realize then. It’d hurt like a bi*tch, again.

Have you ever felt paralyzing pain in love? Have you felt that it smothered you many times? Have you promised to stay away from it but still slipped in it again?

Love is an incredible feeling. But when you attach it to external sources, it will cause pain. Slowly, love kills all your Horcruxes.

When association with external objects of love drops, you discover what always was inside you — divine love.

The truth is pain purifies your love.

Love Is an Addiction Because It Connects You to Your Innate Being Of Love

Humans are the super-intelligent species on earth. From the stone age to nuclear power, we have accomplished great things.

Then why does this super-intelligent being fall in love even when they experienced pain in the past? Did they forget it?

No!

The love towards the other uncovers the reality of your being.

The pure essence of every being on the planet is love. But the mind, conditioning, and stories have diluted that authentic essence.

When you love someone, it gets triggered. Your heart feels divine oneness and rejuvenation.

This World Is a Mirror Reflecting Your Inner State

Imagine a situation you are walking in the park. A couple is kissing in a corner. Choose from below how’d you react?

  1. You feel all lovey-dovey. A sense of joy immerses you.
  2. You’d walk indifferently.
  3. You’d curse your love life and loneliness.

When you are joyful, this world looks like heaven. And when you are in pain, the same world feels like hell.

There is nothing wrong with the world. But with the glasses, we see the world.

The world is like a mirror. It, without fail, reflects your internal state. Look at your reactions to know your inner state.

Your mental state decides the quality of your life. People and situations reveal your hidden emotions. Don’t run from them.

This entire world transforms with your inner transformation. Superpower lies within you.

Use Your Love and Pain to Explore Your State of Being — Love

As long as situations are in your favor, nobody poses any questions. A slight aberration is enough to push you down the spiral stairs of despair.

Love does not hurt you. But your desire. Expectations stir poison in love.

Trying to control/possess the other and satisfy your ego is the most significant source of suffering.

Sometimes, you can easily know the source of pain. Other times, you can feel pain in your heart without identifying the source.

If pain is arising in your life situation, recognize your resistance. Your non-acceptance of life situations creates friction inside you.

By being aware, you can easily identify the source of your pain. It almost always is your creation.

Don’t try to find love. Instead, remove the false layers that you have built against it.

Expectations, jealousy, possessiveness, manipulation are all layers that veil the pure love within you. When all the layers are dissolved, love will radiate itself.

Focus on your heart instead of manipulating others to love you.

Learn the art of removing all that hinders love. It is a negative process. It is like digging a well: You go on removing many layers of earth, stones, rocks, and then suddenly there is water. The water was always there; it was an undercurrent. Now you have removed all the barriers, the water is available. So is love: Love is the undercurrent of your being. It is already flowing, but there are many rocks, many layers of earth to be removed. — Osho

You Don’t Borrow Love. Instead, It Is Infinite and Expresses Who You Are

Love often arises because of an external factor. But love is not something you borrow from someone else. It is not dependent on the other.

It is always inside you. It always was and always will be. You are never devoid of love.

You are the love that you seek. You are never in love. You become love when you love.

You may get into the illusion that you receive love from someone else. But the reality is when you give love, the universe opens your heart more to feel the immense love inside you.

Love is ever-present. But an open heart can sense it more deeply than anyone. A receptive heart is always grateful for it.

Even in hurt, a loving heart can see the limitation of self and others. It forgives and again slips back into doing what it does most efficiently — LOVE!

Don’t Let Doubt Pollute Your Love

The mind rigidly identifies with the relationships and social structure. It disturbs the natural flow of love.

The mind repeatedly falls into the never-ending debate of “What if?”

What if they leave me? What if they love someone? What if I am not sufficient for them?…

The doubt goes on.

But when you recognize that your feeling of love is not dependent on someone else, you become free.

Freedom is the birthright of every human.

Love is a tool that frees you. It frees you from the mind’s limiting beliefs of possession, jealousy, and comparison.

Love is the key to experiencing life. Love does not make your life miserable. Your attachments and expectations do.

Dive Deep in Your Authentic Expression Of ‘Love’

You are not on earth to prove yourself or run a rat race. You are here to experience what you are in totality, i.e., LOVE.

Cherish the love that life gives without clinging to a situation or person. Don’t be afraid to fall in love. Don’t be scared to get hurt.

Instead, use that fear and hurt to see your limitations and judgments against love.

This vulnerability will set you free.

Step into love. Open your beautiful heart, and breathe love. You will then be able to enjoy life as it is — the blissful and radiating life.

Love has to be of the quality that gives freedom, not new chains for you; a love that gives you wings and supports you to fly as high as possible. — Osho
