How Much Did I Earn in one Month on the Medium Partner Program?

Unbelievable! I’ve been writing on Medium for more than a month already!
Recently, I read many interesting articles on authors’ earnings through the Medium Partner Program — especially income reports for March.
If you’re as interested as I am in finding out how much others are making and all the statistics around it — here’s my contribution!
As someone who’s not been on the platform for too long, I can comprehend the interest in finding out how others are making progress on Medium.
Now, let’s get to the numbers!
All beginnings are difficult
I started writing on Medium in mid-February.

Even though it was just a few cents, these were truly the pennies that I had been the happiest about… ever!
(Unless I can’t remember finding a cent on the street as a child)
That was the very first article that I shared about my earnings.
And in addition, it turned out to be the most-read article, to date!

After actively writing on Medium for a while, I also shared an article when I earned my first $5… aka the membership fee (read it here).
At that time, I hadn’t been in the partner program for a full month yet.
In this article, I’m sharing with you how much I earned in my first full month of being in the Medium Partner Program!
EARNINGS:
So yes, I did earn back the Medium member fee and more!
$2.27 was even from a referred membership!

I am truly happy that with writing — which is my passion — I was able to earn a few dollars!
But…
Looking at the stats for the full month, I must, unfortunately, add that currently, my progress is quite stagnant.
As you can see above, there was one particular spike at the beginning of March, which is the story about Earning my First Pennies on Medium!
Since then, there was one more peak, but now, even today it’s been fairly quiet, compared to the beginning of March.
Why is my progress stagnant?
Thinking about it, I can imagine that there was one especially important factor:
Consistency.
Due to my studies and semester abroad in Marseille, it’s been hard to write a lot, especially during the week.
In relation to that, I also want to engage more with the community.
I will try to continue writing consistently…
And who knows, maybe this stagnant period will (hopefully) end soon!
