How I Managed to Skyrocket my Motivation to write

This will help you become a writing machine

Are you a slave to your emotions or do you get the job done even if you do not feel like it?

Like most writers on this platform, I write as a side hustle. Still, I’m having pretty good success on Medium and will earn over $2000 this month. Pretty crazy to be honest.

Although it is very lucrative for me, I often don’t want to write another article after a busy day.

But I think the time you have left after your 9–5 job or after studying in my case is the time you have to use to become successful. Instead of wasting 3h on the phone or in front of the computer before going to bed, you could create so much value in that time.

You can not expect to succeed when you only put in work on the days that you feel like it

Please do not get me wrong. I love to write, but some days it’s hard for me to motivate myself.

Luckily, I have a thought that keeps me going back to my desk and getting that damn article published.

The thought that gets me going every time

I have managed to have some of my articles go viral so I have already earned more than $500 with my most successful article. Here is the proof.

I am sure that the article will continue to bring in money. At the moment it is about 15$ per day.

So how much will the article earn me in total?

700$?- for sure! 1000$?- I hope so 1500$?- Maybe, why not?

Let’s say $1,000. Should be realistic. That’s a lot of money.

By the way. We are talking about this one. Maybe you want to check it out.

How long did I have to work for it?

I don’t think it took me much longer than 2 hours to write the article. Not a bad hourly wage I think.

That’s exactly how I motivate myself. I think to myself, “You could write an article in the next 2h that goes just as viral as the other one. Going to work now could be worth $1000”.

Maybe it will become an even bigger success. You never know.

That’s a whole different incentive that gets me fired up every time.

Here is my tip:

Always assume that your next story will be your most successful one. This will skyrocket your motivation just like it skyrockets mine.

Thank you for reading my story. I hope it will motivate you.
