Hey! Do You Want To Know The Easiest, Cheapest, and Most Effective Way To Be Happy?

Here are valuable reasons why a simple, sincere thank you is enough!

“I know you are having a difficult time, and in deep pain. Alas! Can you lose yourself and relax? Learn to be mindful, and grateful for the positive side of everything that you are in now — you’ll realize, there are a lot more reasons to be happy.” Josh Balerite Acol

Gratitude is considered the sole most compelling emotion in life to affect happiness in any human being.

Think about this, how do you feel when you say those plain words sincerely, thank you or thanks to you to someone, to anything or anyone?

Your sulking mood instantly changes, doesn't it? Oops, don’t deny it, dear One. Your mood lightens from a depressing to a happier one!

We do not essentially wait for the right moment to express those uncomplicated words.

In fact, when you learn to convey thankfulness, I am absolutely sure, a state of extreme, unforeseen joy leads to it thereafter.

As the famous Oprah Winfrey says,

“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” — Oprah Winfrey

Still not convinced?

Well, here are proven truths why gratefulness results in happiness:

  1. It reduces the feeling of pain and loss, lessens stress, and makes you sleep healthily.

As I close my eyes before retiring to bed, I make it a habit to identify something or things to be thankful for.

Though I had a very stressful day, living to be a more grateful person makes me perceive the world in a whole new light.

For instance, I remembered I have been late to work, but it did not affect me so. I just think of the old lady I am able to help along the way.

Gratefulness wipes out my dependence on external matters. Instead, it makes me concentrate on what’s really important in life.

2. It makes your relationship with others more productive. You tend to be refreshed and jazzed up to discuss or show the next big idea in mind.

Your illuminating actions become contagious thus inspiring colleagues around you.

Asking them how’s their day will make them feel their importance as human beings, too.

3. It heightens your connection with your family and loved ones.

I know, I know your wife or husband always prepares and cooks food for you. What’s the big deal in it, anyway? It’s their task because you are busy on your own.

Hey, dearie, this should be the only time to let them feel they are loved. Those simple two words, “thank you”, can do wonders!

And yes, your kids will feel more fortunate and loved having you as their parent.

4. It affects a healthier longer life.

A recent 5-year study done with 3,800 participants showed that those who are most happy lived a more wholesome life than those who exhibited unhappiness.

Indeed, embodying thankfulness not only makes life more pleasurable but definitely adds vitality.

You become more self-aware of your toxic habits. You avoid unhealthy foods, do healthful activities, like yoga, hitting the gym, or doing brisk walking around.

5. It aids in mending over painful and traumatic occurrences in your past.

Life is always an unresolved riddle for each and every one of us.

If you had been in a heartbreaking, violent relationship like mine, this should never discourage you from discovering what you really want in life.

Think about it the other way around. See your own story as a great testimony for others to look up to. They too can better their lives by being resilient individuals ready to face future hurdles.

6. Keeping a daily gratitude journal gives you a constant reminder of the innumerable blessings you enjoy in life.

This is just one of the significant ways to practice gratitude, as Robert Emmons, the world’s leading expert on gratitude has emphasized.

To achieve a harmonious life, be creative enough to discover ways and moments to be grateful for even in common things.

The air we breathe, the earth we live in, the sumptuous meal that we eat, the moments we spent with our loved ones —just the simple thought that we are alive is a huge reason to be delighted.

In conclusion, whatever situation you are having now, this is the time for you to speculate, rethink, and be pleased.

For it is only through gratitude that you learn to accept life the way it is.

You accept the fact that bad things not only happen to bad people but also to good ones.

Further, you utmostly discover to be humble enough to acknowledge that you cannot always do it on your own.

You need others to make you feel full. You concede humbly that as humans, we are connected whether we like it or not — spiritually, physically, and mentally.

In the end, it’s you and your loved ones’ happiness that is most noteworthy of all.

It’s your life. It’s your choice.

So, why not do it now? Spread-out, and infect positivity and happiness.

Be thankful. Be happy.
