Abstract

"Helga Fights Back" is a chapter in a 'choose your own' drabble story where the protagonist, determined to kill Robbie, is unexpectedly subdued by Helga. “Sorry, Robbie,” you growl, drawing your axe again. “I came here to kill you, and I’m going to do it.”

The young man retreats into a corner, terrified, as you bear down on him.

But you’d reckoned without Helga. She grabs a tankard, and thumps you across the temple.

Your axe drops as you stagger back, dazed.

Moments later you find yourself in their cellar, shackled in a corner.

“You work for us now,” says Helga. “It should be easier to make ends meet with a bit of free labor.”

“There’s even a bucket to pee in,” adds Robbie helpfully.

The End.
