Life is full of coincidences.

Most people consider a coincidence as a synonym for an accident or a happenstance. But it isn’t.

A coincidence is an incident that is happening in conjunction with another incident. It is a CO incident. The two incidents are connected. It is not an accident, a stroke of luck, or anything else of the sort.

Last week, I had a personal growth moment that inspired me to write an article about it, and I made a note to do so. But, being a procrastinator, I kept putting it off. When the Universe wants you to do something, procrastination doesn’t work. It will find a way to make you get your behind in gear and do it.

Coincidentally, I mentioned it in a couple of comments, which led me to write about it finally. While I believed it to be procrastination, the truth is I didn’t know how to form the ideas I needed to communicate. The comments I wrote and the responses to them created the framework to present the idea.

The tale is about a song from my all-time favorite band, Styx. I have referred to a few of their songs in my stories. Many of them have played a pivotal role in my life. Like this one, when I was feeling victimized by the imposter syndrome, pulled me out of the doldrums and gave me the boost I needed.

I have intended to participate, since the beginning of August, in the weekly prompts that 𝘋𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘢 𝘊. has been putting out. Earlier, when I saw that Serendipity was the theme, I told myself this is the week. (Then I discovered I have been removed as a writer for inactivity. I should know better.)

As if the development of the story mentioned above stemming from my response to Trista Ainsworth, and a conversation with Amy Marley in response to one of her stories wasn’t enough, I became curious as to how old Tommy Shaw was.

A quick Google search revealed the answer; he is 66 years old, the same age as I. Hmm, I wonder when his birthday is? Only two days away. He will be 67 on September 11th. 😎

9/11 was his birthday before the date became associated with the infamous incident. With all due respect to the people who lost their lives on that fateful morning,

Happy Birthday, Tommy!

How is that for Serendipity.

Man in the Wilderness! (A perfect song about Know Thyself! Heal Thyself!)

As always, thank you for reading and responding.
