Happiness is Watching the Magical Dance of Animal Life

November Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Happiness”

Shall we dance to nature’s music?

Is there anything more wonderous and spectacular than sitting quietly in nature and simply observing the world doing what it does — especially the wildlife world?

Lush green grass, gently flowing water, the chitter-chatter of people strolling by, kids laughing and playing in the park, and happy, hungry geese munching on roots, shoots, leaves, bugs and whatever tasty morsels they can possibly get their little bills on.

Looking at the photo above, one would think they were starving to death! But this is just what they do. Peck, peck, peck. They obviously don’t think, gee maybe I should pace myself here, so my friends don’t think I’m totally pigging out.

Nope, those are the silly pesky thoughts of humans. Isn’t this just one of the many reasons why we love animals so much? They do their thing and don’t worry about what they look like or what their friends are thinking.

Or maybe they do and just don’t care. Who knows?

I loved reading about cutie Rosie in Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles’s kickoff to this month’s challenge. Enjoyed, as well, reading about Christina Daniels cutie cat Cuddles and the precious little robins in this story by Daphsam.

And a huge thank you to Mary Chang Story Writer for bringing us this wonderful publication.
