Great Stories that Should Have Been Boosted!

Some of my favourite reads

© Susie Kearley

These are some of the stories that I read and enjoyed recently. Some did well, others were under-appreciated. I feel they were all worthy of being boosted. So this is my boost!

Denis Gorbunov wrote about the wonderful penguins and sea lions on his 11 day cruise in Antarctica. Now I’m seriously thinking I want to go on a cruise to Antarctica too! Amazing scenery — just look at those photos!

Trisha Faye wrote about the time she saved a butterfly. It’s such a great story, with so much more to it than saving a butterfly! Her story of living in an over-sized caravan with a four acre plot that sounds like a wildlife haven really appeals to me.

MaryClare StFrancis, M.A. (she/her) wrote about her friend who died in a fall and how she feels about it years later. It was an awful situation that she still struggles to come to terms with, even today. Her writing is emotionally raw and written from the heart.

Deborah Camp wrote about the murder of her ex-husband’s grandparents. The killer got away with it. They were difficult people to get along with, so they were estranged from the couple, but no one expected them to come to an unfortunate end like that! Horrendous!

That’s all folks! Happy reading.
