Your Articles Should Have Been Boosted, So I’m Fixing It!

© Susie Kearley

I came across some brilliant articles in August, some of which I really felt should have been boosted. They didn’t appear to have received much traction. So I’m fixing it — here you go.

They might earn another 10 cents because of my efforts. My favourite articles from August are as follows…

Find kids annoying? You’ll love this story by Elisa Bird! Imagine having someone assign you their children to look after while you’re hoping for a restful trip on an aeroplane.

This one by MaryClare StFrancis, M.A. (she/her) about the time her friend died, should have been boosted. Talk about trauma. It was an accident, but an experience like this must play on your mind forever afterwards.

John Pearce’s travel piece about ‘Westward Ho!’ made me smile. We nearly went there once — perhaps it’s just as well that we ran out of time. Grammarly had a meltdown with the place name, apparently. Don’t you love it when Grammarly can’t cope?

And here’s one of my old favourites from *ages ago* about an escapee hamster by Tony Atkinson

That’s all folks! Happy reading.
