The website is a blog post about the importance of life and alchemy, with a focus on regenerative technologies such as terra preta and sourdough.
Abstract
The blog post emphasizes the importance of life and alchemy, with Gaia (Mother Nature) as the central figure. The author discusses the need to support Gaia by keeping her oceans and rainforests healthy, as they produce oxygen essential for life. The author also highlights the role of humans as wise guardians who can unleash their creativity and love abundantly. The post then introduces regenerative technologies such as terra preta, a fertile black soil that can regenerate itself, and sourdough, a natural yeast that can be used to bake bread. The author encourages readers to try these technologies and understand their workings, as they can co-create a new world for better times ahead.
Opinions
The author believes that life is all that matters and that humans should take up their place as wise guardians to support Gaia.
The author is enthusiastic about regenerative technologies such as terra preta and sourdough, which can produce healthy food and improve gut micro-organism biodiversity.
The author encourages readers to try these technologies and understand their workings, as they can co-create a new world for better times ahead.
The author believes that bioplastics made with micro-organisms can prevent waste and avoid creating plastic soup in the oceans.
The author is mindful of tags and wants to build the right tag-club for their Gaia stories.
SPECIAL ILLUMINATION PROJECT
Gaia is Life. Life. Life!
It’s all there is. Life. And Alchemy.

Gaia is LIFE.
She lives.
She breathes.
She supports us fiercely.
With her oxygen
made in oceans and rainforests.
Her lungs.
If we keep them healthy,
she will create an abundance
of oxygen for us.
She breathes her breath.
Essential for our lives.
She will cool our planet,
our home.
CO2 is of no importance
if we are humble enough
to share our planet
with all species.
We may take up our place
as wise guardians.
Unleash our creativity.
Love with strong hearts.
Abundantly!
Her water flows through
river veins.
Giving us drink
forever.
Ending up in oceans,
making waves.
Pushing and pulling
our cycles with
moon power.
Life.
It’s all that counts!
Life.
It’s all that matters!
Life.
Life.
Life.
Regenerating Technologies
Today, I read Amy Marley’s story on worms. Love it, Amy! And I realized in a flash that it’s all there is. Life. Human life. Life for all species. It’s all that matters. That realization inspired the poem above.
And I want to tell you just al little about some forms of life that will change our human products and our human thinking about technologies forever.
Wanna be an alchemist? You can be one! It’s magic!
The first living technology is terra preta, a very fertile black soil that is able to regenerate itself. In this story by Austin Liu, you’ll read all about it.
The biochar in the soil forms little houses for the micro-organisms so the soil remains alive! It can even regenerate itself. Terra preta soil produces new soil. That’s alchemy!
This soil is so alive, all plants love it! And it produces the best food ever!
If you want to get into it, here’s a simple recipe created beautifully by my good friend Ayumi Matsuzaka.
Healthy Food in Corona-times
The second living technology is sourdough. If you have a mother piece, it will regenerate forever and you can always bake bread.
Natural yeast. It’s magic!
Wanna try it? Here are some mistakes you should not make.
In corona times, it’s also good to know that there are more forms of gut-goodies that love to be created by fermentation wisdom.
Here’s info from the Aussie fermentation wizards at Gutsy. Especially for my friends who are saying that nothing is happening in Australia. Look deeper, my friends, things are happening all over the world!
My pet Kombucha likes sugars and tannins, black tea. And the drinks she produces are very delicious. My water kefir gives me great drinks as well. Here’s some info on fermented drinks.
Your immune system will love it. Your gut-micro-organism-biodiversity (whoah, love the new word!) will flourish. And as we all know that’s essential for a healthy body.
If you ever get the chance to do some fermentation classes, a whole new world will open up for you.
And if you understand the workings of these regenerative practices, alchemy starts. We can co-create the new world for better times ahead.
Bioplastics are being made with micro-organisms so plastics will no longer create waste. No longer creating plastic soup in our beloved oceans.
You can read about it in this story about yucky materials being yummy materials for a better world.
Keep on sharing your personal tips, my friends. For questions, I’m always available via the comments.
I’ll now tag a few of you here. Some of you have expressed specific interest, others are added because I would love to read your views. But of course, everyone is welcome to read and I’m very interested to read all of your stories for Gaia!
If you want to be added to the tag or removed from it, just tell me in the comments and I’ll build up the right tag-club especially for my Gaia stories. I’m mindful of tags. Life and information are overwhelming enough as it is…
If you want to connect, you can find me on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, or my website. Or somewhere feeling colors, hearing smells, and tasting words. Building up my wisdom by combining all senses…
Thank you, Mike, for adding your wise energy to my words on alchemy.
