JUNE WRITING CHALLENGE
Flow Like Water — June Monthly Challenge for Globetrotters
A call for submissions of a splashy summer adventure

There is no life without water. Yet we stand in a privileged position where we can play in and around water. If fresh or salt, still or wavy, we can splash around in it and have fun.
“If there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water.” — Loren Eiseley
On one half of the planet, summer is approaching and with those sunny warm days, lots of water adventures are about to start.
Since water can be found in most places of the world in the most diverse environments, so too can the activities. Some people prefer it calm, others dive in headfirst.
Whatever it is you’re looking forward to or have done in the past, we’d love to hear about your adventure in and around the water. Tell us what you loved most, what you felt during the activity, and if you felt happier afterwards.
What does water do to you?

From childhood days I’ve always loved water — not so much swimming pools, but I love the ocean — and have swum and splashed in the waves whenever and wherever I can.
I took swimming lessons and participated in tournaments during my teenage years and I am still a confident swimmer. This definitely helps me to enjoy more dangerous water activities all around the world.
In case you need some inspiration, I’m sharing some of my experiences in or on the water in this article here.
