Flawed Legwork
Searching for Charity №14 — After encountering the Toronadi, Herald got it rough …

“Looks like you had your first riding lesson.”
Charity chuckled and earned an evil eye from Herald.
“Keep up, big hero!”
Herald walked with his legs so wide apart it seemed a dragon could crawl under them. He winced with every step.
“You’re the meanest person ever. Not funny!”
“Wait.”
Charity gave him a signal to keep quiet before looking carefully around a corner.
“The treasure chamber,” she whispered, “Is guarded by a bunch of skeletons.”
“My moment of greatness,” Herald said and stumbled around the corner.
Although his legwork was somewhat flawed, his anger ensured a short, victorious fight.
