First Medium milestone: 100 Followers reached!

Today is the day and I am very happy about it! 🥳💯

Actually this story was written and published on April 27th, 2023, but I accidentally deleted it. 😥

But for historical purposes, I really want this story to be visible, because gaining first 100 followers was such a huge step for me. 💯

So I have decided to republish the story. I hope nobody has a problem with that! ✌️🙃

So yesterday, all day long I was constantly refreshing and refreshing my Medium stats page. And just before going to bed, this is what I saw:

Oh my god! It is hard to describe the feeling, how happy I am. It is one of those moments that we live for! Right? 😄

It is quite possible, that I will print this screenshot, frame it, and put it on the wall after some time. 😂

Thank you so much for supporting me, reading my stories, clapping and commenting. I know that probably only 10% (at the best) of those followers will be the “real” fans, that will engage with my stories in the future. But still, reaching this milestone is a huge step for me!

Why 100 followers on Medium are so important?

Well, at first, it might seem that 100 is only a beautiful number. But on Medium it is not only that. 💯

If you reach 100 followers you can try to apply for Medium Partner Program (MPP). And if the application is approved then you can start monetizing your stories and begin earning money! 💰

I hope my application will be approved and I will document every necessary step while trying to join this club of Medium elites. 💪
