You fill your pockets. Gold coins aplenty… and then you find a small drawer with pearls, rubies, the lot.

It’s more wealth than you expected to see in your life. Of course, you could never sell it in town. But somehow, your family’s fate with the orcs now feels like it matters a lot less.

With pockets jingling, you push your way outside, kicking the moneylender’s body aside to open the door.

But as you do, two armed guards are just arriving at the shop. They look at you, then at the body on the ground, before grabbing your arms…
