February Theme: Love/Hate

Tainted Love. Sometimes you’ve got to run away.

I’ve always felt that hate requires love

Hate burns, simmers and rages. That much passion must be fed from some twisted form of love. A vast well of emotion, poisoned and warped beyond its original purpose.

Betrayal and divorce dredge up the darkest of human demons

No one can hurt you like the one who loved you. No one knows where you buried those bodies, no one knows your weaknesses, no one knows more about you than the one that loved you.

Love turned bad. Hate turned good.

Your choice.

Our Medium screams for twists

We take moments, expand them to universes, explode and collapse, and we let them linger. We generate surprise by flipping the switch right at the end. Turning that story right at the very last word.

This month is all about that

About taking love and twisting it into hate. Or for the contrary, can hate be tricked into love? How can you surprise us this month.

We know love. We know hate.

How can you make us feel something different? To dig in and chew and come out bloody the other side. Hmm?

There are four beats to this broken heart:

The beast The beauty The betrayal The end

Four beats, two at a time. Two weeks of love. Two weeks of hate.

For the Serial Lovers out there, that’s your story spine. You know what’s coming, more or less.

More details coming Friday, see you then Lovers.

Prompts for February
