This began as a prompt for a writing contest, but this version changes it up a little. Much darker than my usual. I hope you like it.

My gosh, won’t mom and dad be shocked. I finally came out to them. I thought dad would have a heart attack.

I’m on my way to Milwaukee to meet my future husband. The other night, we chatted on Skype for hours. He is so charming and gracious. I feel as if I have known him my entire life.

We’re going to be married when he finishes school. Just weeks away and we will be together forever. It will be divine.

Mrs. Jeffrey Dahmer. Hmmm, sounds good to me. I wonder what we will have for our first dinner together.
