100-WORD VIRTUAL REALITY MICRO-FICTION

Castle Rock Season 2 as a Virtual Reality Video Game

Writing on Medium is kind of like what Duke Nuk’em said, “It’s time to kick ass and chew bubblegum… and I’m all outta gum.”

Castle-Rock Season 2 from Hulu and Comicon.com

So, I could see Hulu’s Castle Rock as a virtual reality (VR) video game. It has all the ingredients to make it great, such as slow walking targets, people coming back from the dead, and only a few “heroes” who can be players or AI helpers, Annie, Pop, Abdi, or Nadia.

Castle Rock and ‘Salem’s Lot are natural settings for this type of shoot ’em up game. Much like The Walking Dead, Survival Instinct, or any of the 100s of others.

You know what, playing too many “video games ruined my life, good thing I have two extra lives”!
