Daily Success Stories from ILLUMINATION
Editorial Update from ILLUMINATION
ILLUMINATION hosts stories of 430+ writers on Medium

Happy Mothers Day!
I know you are busy with your families. This is a quick update on our publication activities today. Our publication factory is open for 24 hours.
Our writers created several articles attributing to their mothers. I compiled those inspiring stories in our curation list attached below section under “What did we create today”.
I informed our six-week progress in my editorial bulletin yesterday. We achieved our sixth milestone successfully. Those who missed the story yesterday can find it from the attached link.
What did we create today?
I created two sets of curation list for our stories; one for non-fiction stories and one for poetry and fiction. I received excellent feedback both from writers and readers on this approach. We have a Mothers Day special attached in the non-fiction story. Here are the lists for your enjoyment.

Writer Introductions
We have four writer introductions today. I enjoyed reading these inspiring bios written by creative pens of our writers.
Meet our writer meera sahney
Meet our writer Taylor Carr
Meet our writer Yannis Ntokos
Meet our writer Celine Thrane
100+ writers introduced themselves in their stories so far. This is an opportunity for our writers to showcase their writing portfolio.
I recommend all new writers to introduce themselves in an article. We compile these introductions, keep this resource on the first page of our publication and also share the file with our 6000+ readers. Please see the attached bio document as an example for creating your bios. Our readers are interested in our writers.
Please check this story of kind reminder from our writer Karen Madej 💛
Improvement Opportunity for Our New Writers
Our writers levelled up by taking several writing challenges over the last six weeks. Some of these challenges took a month. Some writers completed their 30-day challenge by producing fantastic stories. These challenges are optional, of course, and used by our writers to improve the quality and quantity of their stories. Some writers shared their results with measurable metrics.
The challenge I propose to the new writers today is to check the bios of our writers provided in the section above. We have over 100 writer bios that you can review and identify an experienced writer. You can find a writer who is an interest to you. Then you can conduct an interview with the selected writer. You can submit the interview content in a story to our publication. We will feature these interviews in relevant forums. Attached is an example by a writer from another publication who interviewed me earlier this year.
We started a mentoring initiative. There are many experienced and top writers in our publication. New writers can request experienced writers to be their mentors. You can approach them by sending a Medium private message on their bios or contact them in our Slack channel. Cross-pollination is one of the development strategies that our publication use to improve the skills of our writers.
Featured Article
We featured an article by Sylvia Love Johnson. In this masterpiece, Sylvia reviewed all my bulletins written over the last six weeks and gleaned key messages for our writers. I received good feedback from our followers, writers, and even editors of some other publications who consider this story as one of the best testimony for ILLUMINATION providing guidance to new and aspiring writers of our publication. Many thanks to Sylvia for her time and efforts for compiling this story.

Article Submission Quality
Please check our submission guidelines authored by Kevin Buddaeus to ensure your articles are published on a timely basis. One key point delaying some articles are not citing the images. This is a simple point but essential for publishing your stories on time. Details are in the attached article.
Content Quality Focus
Our current writers know that we strive for excellence. We aim to increase the quality of your stories and provide an enjoyable reading experience to our followers.
New writers: please ensure that you check your stories for typos, spelling, and grammar errors before submitting them to the publication.
We have some volunteering editors who can perform a proof reading for the writers from the non-English speaking background. You can search for volunteers from our Slack channel.
