About Me — Alina Pitt
Everything That You Wanted To Know About Me

Alina Pitt is my pen name as I prefer to remain anonymous. Many of the stories I write revolve around psychedelics, substances that are highly illegal in numerous countries. I chose to create the persona of Alina to freely share my experiences with you, without the fear of being hunted down and persecuted as a witch, shaman, or similar. The picture you see above is pretty close to my actual self.
I wanted to create the persona of Alina Pitt to freely share my experiences without fear.
Where are you from?
I grew up in Germany and Austria but never felt at home in these countries. I was always driven by my curiosity and the desire to discover and learn more things. I am at home where my heart is. My location changes frequently.
What do you do for a living?

Today, I am a 500 Registered Yoga Teacher and Blogger. I have a passion for teaching Yoga and Meditation, particularly to children, as their minds are incredibly receptive to new information and healthy routines.
In my previous career, I worked full-time in the marketing and event sector at one of Austria’s largest radio stations. Before that, I graduated with honors from an Austrian university in environmental system sciences, specializing in economics and HR. I also worked for a financial consulting company and business consulting before that.
What are your Medium goals?
I aim to be among the select few with thousands of followers and a thriving community that supports one another. My goal is to spread positivity, foster togetherness, and promote a peaceful mindset. I firmly believe that by collaborating, we can create an impact, not only on Medium but also in the world.
My Private Life
I am a mother of two wonderful children, aged 3 and 5. I have my soulmate by my side, and together we have faced challenging times, grown even closer, and discovered many homes in different countries.
What makes you unique?
My mind is one of a kind. I had a life-threatening brain injury when I was only seven months old, a baby. I almost died, and I remember my mother saying that she was sure that I was gone for a couple of minutes, but I survived. I wanted to survive. I knew that my journey could not be over yet.
I believe that this incident shaped my brain differently. I was always able to remember my very vivid dreams. I learned to control them at a very early age because I had to — too many nightmares were bothering me almost every night.
I grew up in Western society, but I almost crumbled in my late 20s because of the system I was in. I searched for answers and found more truth in my psychedelic journeys than with anything before. Psilocybin and later Ayahuasca were mind-opening events. Later, I experienced my first and only (at least until now) out-of-the-body experience (OBE).
I have dedicated my life to finding out more about the mind, psychedelic journeys, the kundalini energy, telekinesis, telepathy, and other abilities that I now believe the human body is absolutely capable of. I believe in magic, not the kind on TikTok, but the real magic we only know from fairy tale books.
I believe that the mind is the key.
I haven’t figured out much yet, and I know that I’ve only scratched the surface, but I am sure that step by step, I will find out so much more, and I want to share everything with you. Every little detail that might lead to a more powerful but at the same time peaceful mind. Everything is connected, and all the answers are out there, hidden in the deepest corners of our mind; we just need to tap into this energy and/or vibration.
Any cool experiences?
My favorite experiences before becoming a mother were swimming with wild dolphins in Egypt, drinking magic mushroom tea in the wilderness in a hut, or feeding wild kangaroos.
But today, nothing can even compare to the two most incredible experiences I’ve had in my life: the home water births of my babies. I had no idea how it would actually feel to go through the birthing process; it is incredible what the female body is capable of. These events were life-changing; I could welcome new life on this planet. I will never forget these two days in my life. They changed me forever — for the better. Becoming a mother in my late 30ies was the best thing in my life so far. I love it.
Which topics do you like to write about on Medium?
I love writing about mental health, self-development, self-improvement, plant medicine, psychedelic journeys, and psychedelic medicine, as well as microdosing. Occasionally, I also write about new technology such as VR and AI, conspiracy theories, or movies and TV shows that I found interesting or inspiring.
What pets do you own?

I love animals, and I grew up with cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits, birds, and ducks. However, my current lifestyle doesn’t accommodate pets. Finding rental homes that allow pets is very difficult, and frequent moving would be hard on any animal. Perhaps in the future, I could see myself having a cat again. I miss the feeling of a cat lying on my chest and purring, which I find to be the most calming sensation I can think of.
Where have you travelled to in the world that resonated with you?
I love Thailand, and I’ve spent several months in different places there: Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, and Chang Mai. Currently, I am in Australia, and in the coming years, I plan to explore more of this beautiful country. I might also visit New Zealand soon.
There’s so much to discover in this world, and time is passing quickly. But Australia has resonated with me the most so far.
If there is anything I left out, feel free to ask me. I am also on Instagram.
When you cultivate a positive mind, anything is possible.
Feel loved, feel hugged!
