Firm hands aid you to sit on a tree stump. A human magic user is staring at you, but with a kinder expression than Lorenzo. “I am Naya Flameweaver. You need help.”

You grunt, glancing at her companions — a lizardman warrior and a goblin.

Naya casts a healing enchantment, and your mind clears. “Some of your armor...” She tails off; fire magic flares, and your cuirass is restored.

“I hunt the evil orcs…” you begin.

“As do we,” says Naya, pointing to her goblin companion. “Polki’s brother was captured. Tox’ar the warrior will help.”

“Then let’s move,” you say, standing.
