As Lorenzo speaks, visions of a horrific future flash through your mind. Cruelty, torture, domestic servitude…
“Never!” you cry, then flee.
But strange visions keep coming. A dragon overhead. Your childhood friend, Zaroph, mocking you. A vast golden egg on the path…
You come to a halt. No, there really is a golden egg ahead! But as you stare, it morphs into a set of magical armor. Three adventurers stand there, equipping themselves for some unknown fight. A human, a goblin and a lizardman.
Despite your confused state, you recognise them from the tavern.
Then you fall to your knees.
