During His Performance As Star-Lord on Guardians of the Galaxy, Chris Pratt Had to Endure an Interesting Diet
Chris Pratt had an interesting water-based diet while filming for his Marvel movies.

So, in some of my past posts, I’ve chatted about all kinds of stuff related to Marvel movies and TV shows. You can find those linked below.
But today, let’s dive into something fun — the crazy diet Chris Pratt had to go through when he was rocking the Star-Lord look in Guardians of the Galaxy.
Chris Pratt spilled the beans on his epic training routine for his role as Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy. Now, you might think Hollywood diets are all about kale smoothies and quinoa, but Chris Pratt’s journey was anything but ordinary. Brace yourself, because this is no run-of-the-mill diet tale.
First off, let’s set the record straight. A while back, Vanity Fair published a story that got the internet buzzing. They claimed that Chris Pratt’s Marvel nutritionists had him drinking a staggering 220 glasses of water every day!
Yes, you read that right — 220 glasses! That’s a glass for every pound he weighed while sweating it out during his grueling training sessions.
On top of that, he was chowing down on a 4,000-calorie-per-day diet. People at the gym couldn’t help but gawk at him, watching him drip sweat and pant for breath. His nutritionist even said:
“He’s dripping sweat, out of breath. He was just a guy who was killing himself in the gym.”
Pratt himself humorously added:
“I was peeing all day long, every day. That part was a nightmare.”
But hold on, there’s a twist in the tale. A few days later, Variety Fair corrected their story. It turns out, Chris Pratt wasn’t drinking 220 glasses of water per day; he was actually downing 220 ounces of the good ol’ H2O.
This is roughly equivalent to 13 standard bottles of water. It’s still a lot, no doubt, but it’s not as insane as the initial report made it seem.
Now, why did Chris Pratt put himself through this waterlogged ordeal? Well, it was all in the name of becoming Star-Lord, a role he cherished beyond measure. Star-Lord wasn’t just any part; it was the role of a lifetime.
His performance even became the inspiration for the Guardians of the Galaxy video game. So, all those bathroom breaks were a small price to pay for this cosmic gig.
Final Words
So, there you have it — With gallons of water and countless hours at the gym, he sculpted himself into a superhero, winning the hearts of fans everywhere.
And as the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy came to a close, one thing’s for sure — Chris Pratt’s dedication and humor shine as brightly as the stars he protects on the big screen.
