Dr. Jen RHOC Says Not Okay to Be Disrespectful to Women

Does she remember her own RHOC words??!!

Am I the only one outraged by The Real Housewives of Orange Country’s (RHOC) Dr. Jen? Am I the only one who remembers what she said a few episodes ago?

She keeps talking about respecting women. She’s indignant about it. As if she holds herself to a higher standard. Cuz, she’s a girl’s girl. Or at least she says she is. If you scroll down under this article you will read the piece I wrote a few months ago.

It’s hard to look past the hot shirtless husband. I get it. It doesn’t matter if he goes by an old name, new name, reinvented name, or any moniker. We’re all in.

And the adorably squishy, I want to snatch you up Mr. Puppers. That tiny little bit of love could convert a cold-hearted, animal-adverse beast. While melting the insides of our doggie-obsessed bleeding hearts.

Even Dr. Terry Dubrow wants to take Mr. Puppers home.

I can only guess this sexy and adorable hoopla is what’s making viewers miss…

The words that are exiting Dr. Jen’s mouth.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not a hater. I wanna like Dr. Jen. But I’m a woman who built a business with her husband and then gasp…wait for it…don’t judge me…don’t mistake me…don’t underestimate me.

STAYED HOME TO RAISE MY CHILDREN.

A shockingly lazy choice.

Because evidently, per Dr. Jen I’m lounging in bed with the rest of my cohorts. The misdirected women who NEED to be taken care of. The girl’s girls who haven’t got a life.

Because if we did, we rise from our slumber.

If for no other reason, our own self-respect. Geez, did you hear that Dr. Jen? The harsh reality of your words. I’m guessing you did since you’re a working gal which in your world means you’re wide awake. Not catching flies like me.

Golly, I’m glad my momma raised me right. Because I might say a woman whose career is based on looks is misdirected. Or that maybe she should spend more time with her children.

Luckily for you, I’ll never say those words.

Because I applaud women who make different choices. I don’t need every girl to be like me. I think a career woman can be a terrific mother. I think her decision deserves respect. I think a stay-at-home mom can be highly motivated. A substantially contributing individual despite forgoing a cash dividend.

But hey, that’s just my opinion of respect.

Allowing each woman to make the choice she needs to make. You know, for her own family. A highly personal decision the average girl’s girl will agonize over. Even beat herself up continually over it.

Maybe instead of RHOC reunions, there should be rewind parties.

For the supposed girl’s girls.

The women who aren’t deep in slumber.
