The Drabble word for March 27 is CENTRAL

This is a Drabble, a story that contains 100 words, no more and no less.

Leo’s wife had been crabby lately. He didn’t know what she was going through, but he was getting tired of her griping about the tax hike. His job as tax collector was important no matter what the people of Coventry said.

He had a foolproof idea.

“Lady, I’ll tell you what. The taxes won’t go up if you ride down Main Street, the very central of Coventry on your favorite stallion.”

“Really, Leo? Cool beans!”

“Well, there’s one detail. You’ll have to ride nude.”

Lady let down her hair, disrobed, and mounted her stallion, “No shirt, no shoes, no problem.”

With apologies to Lady Godiva. And the horse she rode in on.
