The Good Old Days
Daily random word Drabble -Prosy
Dad recited his few prosy comments regarding cell phone use at the table as they sat down for dinner, ignored by both kids and his wife, who ate with their heads buried in their phones.
He droned on about things being different when he was a kid, but were they?
He remembered his mom becoming enamored with TV dinners in foil trays. For some reason a few peas always wandered into his apple cobbler.
They would eat on metal TV trays, huddled silently around the glowing TV screen. The only thing really different about today was the number of screens.
