I’m not kidding, my friends. This is a scientifically proven fact. Several years ago, NASA identified that Sri Lanka has the lowest gravitational field in the world. There are a few other locations with lower values, but the southern tip of Sri Lanka is considered the lowest.
Actually, we knew this as a fact for quite some time. Then why am I mentioning this now?
Well, it has become the problem itself. Recently, this news resurfaced in our media. We pay extra attention whenever something like this happens because there’s often a hidden agenda or ulterior motives behind such news.
For instance, there was a recent incident where China supposedly expressed interest in acquiring 100,000 monkeys from our country.
However, it later turned out to be a mere cover-up story to divert attention from some unfavorable news. This reminds us that it’s wise to anticipate potential negative aspects whenever something seemingly exciting is presented to us.
It’s not about promoting negativity; it’s a lesson learned from the political turmoil we experienced for 75 years following our independence.
Since this news has come to our attention, I thought to share it with you. Some of you may have been aware of this already, and others may not.
Despite Earth being considered a nearly perfect sphere, certain gravitational field anomalies exist. Those anomalies lead to variations in gravity from one location to another.
The actual case is that these differences may be insignificant concerning our body weights. However, they could offer significant advantages to larger masses, such as launching a space shuttle or similar endeavors.
