Do I Need More Than 100 Followers?
Yes and No
I have been thinking today about the number of followers I have; now that I have 100, do I need any more?
In terms of the Medium Partner Program, no, I don’t, I have qualified to continue after December 31st, so in the particular scenario, it's a mission I achieved; well done me!
However, the real answer is yes; of course, I look forward to achieving 500 followers next; like most people, I want as many followers as possible, just with one caveat.
I would rather have 250 followers who actually read my articles and share a common interest, rather than having 1000 followers who never look at my profile or articles ever again.
My tactic has done a complete 360, and now I have my one hundred. I would be very interested to know your tactics to be successful on the Medium platform, and sharing is caring, as they say.
The same goes for publications; I write for maybe 10; however, I only really post to four of them, so do I really want or need them? I guess I am still trying to figure it out, and some are better than others; which publications do you follow and why?
