Disturbing Amusement Park Ride- Fails Will Haunt You Forever
These scary accidents at amusement park rides will make you never want to visit an amusement park again.

Amusement parks are known for their thrilling and dangerous rides that can only be enjoyed by those that truly love a good adrenaline rush. Personally, I would pass out even at the mere sight of some of these frightening drops and dazing speeds.
Needless to say, amusement parks are not a place for the faint of heart. However, it is sometimes, when being a coward works out in your favor because these scary accidents on amusement park ride only happen to those who are brave enough to sit on rides.
Amputated in the Air
Have you ever imagined riding a near 100-meter drop in an amusement park, all riled up to get the best thrill of your life and you end up coming down with a few limbs missing?
Well, neither did this one particular young girl who got on the Superman Tower of Pride with a few friends at the Six Flags in the Kentucky Kingdom, but that is exactly what happened to her. As shocking as it sounds, yes this girl did have to leave this ride with one limb less and a million terrors more.

The girls later narrated to news outlets that the ride was slowly getting to the top when they heard a cable snap loudly. They looked up and to their horror, discovered that all the cables holding the ride to the main structure were starting to snap and due to the speed of the ride dropping to the ground, they had gained momentum and were flying around!
Numerous of the girls got slashed and whipped by these cables and were injured in their faces. With busted lips and gnashed cheeks, the girls yelled at the management to stop the ride but by then little could be done. The hot cables and wires had begun getting twisted around some girls’ limbs and even necks.

As they finally got down and thought their nightmare had ended, one girl(13 years old) smelled something burning and looked down to see her feet had gotten caught up in the cables and were getting burnt right through.
She ended up surviving later on, though only one of her feet was surgically attached back while the other one was so badly hurt that her entire leg had to be amputated.
Death at the Happiest Place on Earth
Disneyland is known better as “The Happiest Place on Earth ‘’ and claims to bring attendees a day full of fun and happy memories. Obviously, anyone going to Disneyland would expect to have the greatest time of their life and no one in their right mind would ever imagine returning from the world-famous amusement park with mental or physical scars.
However, one man who sat on a Disneyland roller coaster in 2003 ended up having the worst experience ever.
Disneyland’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad attraction features a long dark tunnel through which riders are made to pass through. It was in this tunnel that the locomotive of the rollercoaster detached from the rest of the ride and all the cars derailed on the tracks.

Up to 10 passengers were stuck in the dark tunnel for an hour and when the paramedics and firefighters arrived they had the biggest shock of their lives.
A man in his 40s sitting in the lead car had been struck in the head and chest with a giant spear-like concoction and had long passed away before help arrived.
Hanged to Death from Ferris wheel
I’m pretty sure any kid who’s been to an amusement park probably got hours and hours’ worth of lectures and naggings from their parents warning them about the dangers of not following safety rules on rides.
Well, this one kid, in particular, decided to do something which I know for a fact probably goes against every amusement park safety rule.

A young boy once decided to hitch himself a ride at an abandoned Ferris wheel and surprisingly enough, not only did he jump the 6-ft fence guarding the unattended ride he also managed to turn the thing on.
He picked a chair and let the wheel take him to the top. However, this is not where his dare-devilish actions ended because halfway through the ride, he decided to switch seats! Mid-air! He attempted to skip from one chair to another and in that instant, ended up accidentally hanging himself to death. There exist videos of this accident on the internet which were taken by a crowd of people that had gathered below.
Teacup Trauma
Teacups are generally known to be the least thrilling rides in an amusement park and are usually ridden by either toddlers and infants or the elderly.
They are also the last ride you would expect an accident from but never say never because even these cutesy, pastel teacups can give someone a horrible nightmare.

In 2015, a 51-year-old man got onto a teacup ride at a fairground in Burley expecting to have a few minutes of sweet, innocent fun. Sadly, he suffered a worse fate. The ride, which was being towed, was making heavy unexpected movements and this caused the poor man to hit his head and experience severe head trauma.
He was given CPR by a nurse and even rushed to the hospital but ultimately ended up passing away.
Girl Gets Her Hair Ripped Out
This particularly saddening incident occurred in an amusement park in Omaha where an 11-year-old Nebraska girl got onto a teacup ride (damn teacups again) and experienced something that would scar her for life.
As the teacup began to spin, the girl’s long hair got caught up in some part of the concoction and caused her head to get whipped back and forth repeatedly. It was in this process that her hair got ripped out from her scalp and even small pieces of her scalp got detached and flew everywhere.
She was saved by a passer-by who was brave enough to jump onto the ride and stop the spinning teacup with his bare hands.
The passer-by later recalled to a news reporter that when the ride had stopped, the girl had looked up at him and asked where her pretty hair was. Truly, this was an unfortunate and heart-wrenching accident.
Still, got guts?
It is accidents and stories like these that scare even the bravest of thrill junkies to their core and force us to put forward the question of who is responsible for these incidents.
Is it the amusement park management who should make sure to be present everywhere at all times and remain attentive so as to prevent such stores? Or is it these people themselves who should make sure to follow the correct guidelines and save themselves from harm?
