Abstract

lem was solved was because of letting go. It doesn’t mean you shouldn’t work on problems, but turning them around in your mind and getting into knots around them only complicates them and it causes you to lose touch with your inner communication with reality. Letting go of the problem and coming back to serenity created a solution.

Life is like a prayer; it’s a dialogue. You are projecting energy and receiving energy; that is the interaction between you and the God Force. The external/internal dialogue comes from silence, and it develops and strengthens through serenity. -Stuart Wilde

Photo by Simon Migaj on Unsplash

I have noticed that since the shift in my daily practice, I have become calmer. Discovering Your Sixth Sense

Day 5: Becoming aware of the beautiful reality reaching out to you

Reaching into unknown worlds is what this 100 day journey is all about, as I uncover the hidden gems of knowledge and spiritual growth in the book Infinite Self by Stuart Wilde. Each day I discover something new about reality and about myself to share with you. Even though I have read this book many times now, it never ceases to give me daily wisdom.

Today is all about becoming more aware of the subtleties of everything all around us, watching for signs and synchronicities, chance encounters and serendipity. If we truly look around with our hearts, this reality is full of magic and wants to speak to us in unusual ways. We just need to keep our hearts open to discovery.

Heightening your powers of observation in the external world assists you in becoming more aware of your internal, visionary self. The universe is constantly talking to you and showing you things. -Stuart Wilde

Always on the lookout for signs and synchronicities, I love to make note of the things that I observe on a daily basis. A few days ago I was sitting in the backyard enjoying the sunshine when a butterfly flew very close to me. It kept coming back, and then I noticed it enjoying the nectar of some nearby flowers. I took this sign to mean that I am transforming every day. It gave me so much hope that I am on the right path, creating the reality that I desire.

In order to truly be in tune with reality and its communications with us, we must become serene in our thoughts and our actions. Becoming serene, calm, and quieting the mind must become a daily practice. In this way, when we slow down the noise, we begin to see the hidden beauty of life. Life starts to open up, light up, and ignite right before our eyes! We just have to be in tune with the slower rhythms of this inner world.

For example, during this morning’s walk, I started to think about a problem I needed to solve. My mind started to spiral, go in circles, and feel frustrated about trying to solve it. It was as if my mind took over and said that I wasn’t allowed to see the lovely morning dew, the colors of the flowers, the infinite sea of green at that moment.

I decided to notice the thoughts that were coming up, observe them and let them go. I started to concentrate on the abundance of nature all around me. I let go of the problem. I began to smile as I started to walk again. The world was opening up again. I could feel a shift.

Later on, when I came back to solving the problem this morning, I realized the mistake I had made and it could be easily fixed. The ease with which this problem was solved was because of letting go.

Watch that ebb and flow; watch your inner dialogue and the language of life’s symbols, and offer up your simple human activities, you moments of silence, in a symbiotic exchange of energy and information, of asking and gratitude. The external/internal dialogue comes from silence, and it develops and strengthens through serenity. -Stuart Wilde

I have noticed that since the shift in my daily practice, I have become calmer. I do a daily morning guided meditation, and then I go out into my back garden for a silent walk that has become a walking meditation for me. I have found more serenity. I have less inner chatter. This is a practice of becoming. It is a practice of being quiet. It is a practice of going within and strengthening my inner communication skills.

I am more able to notice when my inner dialogue starts to spiral, to go into problem mode instead of solution mode. To go into impossibility instead of possibility. It is a practice of constant vigilance, of letting go and of learning every single day anew.

Once we are able to make this shift, to strengthen our inner communication with reality, to be balanced on the path, we will be more in tune with life. It is like carefully balancing yourself as you walk across an old log to get to the other side of a creek. You must be aware of every step, that being your only focus. We must be aware of our inner world, take good care of our spirits, and nurture them. It is the ultimate form of self-care. When we answer that call, we can begin to feel more in touch with reality and the subtle language it uses to communicate all of the magic and wonders of the world to us.

Expanding your awareness comes from understanding that everything is a feeling, and from asking yourself constantly how things feel. It’s like a muscle that perhaps you haven’t used for years; as you begin to ask, it will strengthen quite quickly. -Stuart Wilde

My prayer and intention for you today is that you start to listen to the inner whispers of reality trying to communicate with you. Notice what happens when you go into nature. What animals come close to you, what do you see in the clouds, what signs are all around you that can guide you to the next step on your soul’s journey? Start to listen in and you will discover a whole new world!

What inner whispers have you heard today?
