Discover Your Golden Heart

Day 39: How to clear your mind to uncover your true spirit

On this brilliantly sunny and golden morning, I found a beautiful black feather placed on my path. It sparked my curiosity and brought a smile to my face. I love to receive signs and symbols from nature each day. Black feathers represent protection from the angels. They are guarding me against negative energy as I walk on this spiritual journey. As I explore each day, I uncover more nuggets of golden wisdom from the book The Force by Stuart Wilde on my 100 days of discovering my true self.

Each and every day, I am learning how to uncover my golden heart. I have always known it was there, shining away. However, some days it gets dusty and dingy, covered with doubt, worry, and guilt. On those days, it is time to get out the polishing cloths and start to clear away what is keeping my heart from shining.

Lately, I have been letting my mind feel lots of guilt. I feel guilty for doing or not doing things. As an empath, I am in close touch with the energy and feelings of others. I am hyper-aware of how others may react. Because of this, I sometimes let that energy go straight to my heart, where it clouds my inner self. I know that today is the day for me to clear away these thoughts and to start fresh. I know that I am a loving being who truly wants the best for others, but also must be free to choose from my own heart. This morning, I decided to listen to my inner guide. She told me that everything will work out when I stand in my own truth. I will be set free.

Communicating with your guide and your higher self is mostly a matter of discipline. You have to go at it as if your life depended on it. Your mind is strong, it has been in command for many years, and will not give ground unless it has to. The effort is like swimming against the current, and as you clear away the debris, the light shines even stronger and its power encourages you to go deeper. -Stuart Wilde

As you begin to go deep within and hear the whispers of your true heart, you will know that the choices you make from this place are the right ones. Sometimes it will be painful because it feels like going against the grain. That is part of the journey. Know that you are supported, you are loved and you are love. That makes you strong, powerful, and full of grace.

At times, you will have to stand alone in your choices. Know that the whole universe is supporting you if you are coming from your heart. Your inner voice is there to guide you, and signs from nature all around you tell you which direction to go. You may feel like you are the only one on this long and arduous journey, however, you are never truly alone. You have the power of your golden heart right inside of you, and the whole universe all around you.

Right now the power of your mind, your emotions, and what you believe about yourself, create an impenetrable barrier through which the force cannot flow. Once you have disciplined your mind and controlled your emotions, the energy of your higher self will flow through, and the more it does, the more light you will have for your path. Trouble will melt away, and you will fully understand what was meant by the golden age. -Stuart Wilde

My prayer and my intention for you today is for you to stand in your truth. Know that you are loved, supported, and guided as you walk the path of life. Sometimes your mind will cloud your path with feelings of guilt and shame. Dust off your heart and know that you are worthy of uncovering your golden heart. Know that your choices, when they come from your heart, are the right ones.

How are you clearing the way for your heart to shine today?
