Dilemma of Identification amongst humans.
Why the LGBT community is causing havoc?
One would assume that because we are in the 21st century, we would have flying automobiles by now. However, in certain strange circumstances, we still don’t know whether we are male, female, or even a cat. When I was registering on a website and saw the possibilities under gender, male, and custom, I completely realized how strange the whole gender thing is. I started to wonder, “What have we really come to as a society?” just by watching that. How, specifically, can one change a gender to look like a GTA character? I understand that this could come across as homophobic, but I simply do not support the LGBT community, and that should be okay as we are all entitled to our own opinions, right? If someone or something from the neighborhood sat next to me, I wouldn’t strike out at him/her/it; instead, I’d just avoid discussion, and that should be tolerated. However, I will approach this subject both logically and religiously; the following section discusses religious beliefs.
It does not matter which religion you follow; they all portray the same teachings. It says in the Bible:
Leviticus 18:22 “Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin.” Leviticus 20:13 says, “If a man practices homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman, both men have committed a detestable act. They must both be put to death, for they are guilty of a capital offense.”
The Quran mentions sex between men several times. Homosexuality is rejected in a number of places in the Quran:
7: 81–82: “You approach men with lust instead of women. No, you are people who go beyond the limits.” {53:45: “And that He created pairs, the male and the female.” 27:56: “Do you lustfully approach men instead of women? No, you are ignorant people.”
Whether I think this behavior is right or incorrect is irrelevant because it has been amply demonstrated. You may argue that religion does not openly condemn homosexuality, which is true, but you could also argue that all “sexual immorality — defined as any sexual behavior that takes place before or after matrimony between a man and a woman and includes fornication, adultery, homosexuality, rape, etc. — is forbidden. People from this community were killed and hanged during World War II, but now that they have rights, it cannot be said that the hangings were justifiable. Human beings should never be the target of torture. In my opinion, giving them rights means that society is acknowledging them as members of society, which is totally acceptable, but they shouldn’t be suppressed.
The question of whether or not something is immoral is now at hand. We should all overcome the obstacles in our lives and perhaps talk to someone about them, but just because you feel a certain way doesn’t mean you need to act on it. When a person is sad, they may have intrusive thoughts in their heads, but that does not guarantee they will act on them. This unnatural affection is harmful to the person who is engaging in it. The fact that we were made in God’s likeness and that he created both men and women dehumanizes them in many ways. We change males into women or women back into men when we do this. We are genuinely lowering ourselves. This is detrimental to Humanity.
Now, tell me how you would reproduce if you were 20 males trapped on an island, or better yet, if there were 20 homosexual men and 20 women. Your goal of continuing to live on earth has been unfulfilled. Furthermore, if you are born a male, how can you suddenly decide that you are in the incorrect body? It seems ridiculous, and it is only a feeling, but you are allowing the feeling to rule.
Who would have imagined that by 2023, there would be 107 different genders? OMG. People are identifying new genders based on their feelings and instincts, which is a staggering statistic. Given that some people identify as black men or women despite being WHITE, how can you say that this is not unethical? That is pure foolishness, plain and simple. I guess they’re right when they say that you shouldn’t dispute with a fool because they’ll make you look foolish and beat you.
You are now free to discuss free will or the right to an opinion with anyone. First of all, if our religion expressly declares that something is bad, it is wrong. Second, where is the line where I can claim I feel like a terrorist? God’s words triumph over ours. Does that imply that I have the right to act however I please? Without a doubt, not. Please wake up and quit letting your feelings control you.
It is not permissible for me to say this because I come from an Islamic family. It is also my duty to spread awareness. But I would also argue that Islam is a religion of peace and that I would never take a strong stand against the LGBT community. As you all search for the truth, may God bless and lead you.
