In my opinion, the most beautiful city in Portugal
Today I visited the birthplace of my father, the city of Tomar here in Portugal. In my opinion, the most beautiful city in Portugal and is known worldwide for the Templar city of the Order of Christ.
The whole city is involved in a mystery and templar memories, from the symbols we can find in the streets of the city, as in the churches, the convent, and Christ and the castle walls.
My favorite city in my country and the most beautiful also in my opinion.
I am a person who loves archaeology and history, so this city has a special affection.
Not to mention that I almost want to join archaeological expeditions in Templar tombs.
The convent of Christ is full of tombs of Knights Templar, homages to kings and formerly, in ancient times, outside one of the residences of Infante D.Henrique — father of D.Afonso Henriques (The first king of Portugal).
These were just some pictures of the wonderful landscapes and places I went through.
If I had a place to choose to work for the rest of my life, it would be in this place as an archeologist.
I feel amazed every minute and often feel my eyes in water of emotion.
