“Comfortably Dumb”

For all those who won’t keep their asses at home.

The following is a reworking of the Pink Floyd classic, “Comfortably Numb.” If you’ve never heard it, or have forgotten the tune, I’ve linked to it, below.

Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! Are you people really out there? What the hell you think you’re doin’ there? When your asses should be home. Get there, get there now. Trump doesn’t give a shit, Get sick, you’re on your own No ventilator here. Chill. (Chill, Chill). Don’t tell me that you’re hurting now. Just what you deserve. I don’t care about your cough.

The pain you brought on is your doing. You selfish schmuck just like our president. Who are you to think that you’ll be saved? You play your games outdoors while we are praying. A harsh, dry cough and also a fever. Your lungs will quit and you can’t breathe. So many people are suffering like this now. Why do I explain, you’ll never understand. But that’s just who I am. And you have become comfortably dumb.

Ahh yes. (Aah yes, aah yes.) You got what you deserve now. There’ll be no more plaaaaying, Because now you’re very sick. Don’t try to stand up, It’s ravaging your body, now. To be sure you won’t be playing the fool for show. Go on, it’s time you go.

POTUS won’t help you he is golfing. A schmuck who putts while everyone is dying. What made you think that you’d be saved? You played your games outdoors while we were praying. When you were a child, Could you imagine this? A virus ending all you know. You’ll take your last breath and be gone. I cannot bring myself to help you now. You made me sick, I’ll too be gone. And now you, are uncomfortably dumb.
