Cocky or Smart?
Maybe I’m both
I would say that I think a lot different to most people, other people might also think the same thing, I have heard a lot of stupid things in my life, I think sharing some of my thoughts with you may help to understand that there is an alternative view.
Not, black or white, not, right or wrong, just different.
My answers to these quotes
Quote “you only live once”
My response, “Wrong, we die only once, we live every day”
Quote “is the pint glass half-full or half-empty?”
My response, “It is an opportunity to take a drink”
Quote “practice makes perfect”
My response was, “perfect practice makes perfect, if you practice it wrong, how will it be perfect?”
Quotes that mean everything to me
“It is only afterwards that a new idea seems reasonable. To begin with, it usually seems unreasonable.”
“Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear.”
“An error does not become a mistake until you refuse to correct it.”
“Those who can’t change their minds can’t change anything.”
“We are the main character, in our own story”
“We can create our own potential.”
“The beginning of greatness is to be different, and the beginning of failure is to be the same.”
“The person who views the world at fifty the same as he did at twenty has wasted thirty years of his life.”
A quick story to finish off with and I hope it will make you think.
A man walked down a dirt track, which leads him for miles, he then came across a split in the track, one path leads him to the right of a field, one to the left of it.
He stops and looks at both paths, whilst he is pondering he can see a farmer working in the field ahead, he shouts out to the farmer.
“Hello farmer, there are two paths, one to the right, and one to the left, which one should I take?”
The farmer laughs, then replies, “where do you want to go, my friend?”
The man thinks for a minute then responds, “I don’t know”
The farmer takes off his hat and scratches his head, “Well then, does it actually matter which road you take?”
