City Of Lights — Karachi
100 Days writing challenge — Episode 3

As I was thinking to come up with a topic for today’s story; I got an idea! How about a series of stories? Like travel, food, or anything that I love or have a unique experience with that may be worth sharing.
Okay, I shall write the first series about the cities where I have spent a good amount of time — living, working, or simply traveling. So, to start off with, I am going to write about the city that I love the most — Karachi!
Karachi is the biggest city in Pakistan, very close to my heart and also my birthplace. Home to over 15 million welcoming and pretty faces. It enjoys warm summers, pleasant evenings, occasional rainfalls, and mild winters. This makes it accessible throughout the year.
Karachi has a beautiful beach, hundreds of restaurants, equally amazing street food, and a lot of shopping opportunities. The local language is Urdu, but English is also very common.
There is another good news that the exchange rate of the local currency is very favorable to the USD, EUR, GBP… etc. So have fun for a fraction compared to other popular destinations in the world.
Teaser: Tomorrow’s featured city will be Sharjah!

Tips of the day
Here are a couple of tips that I would like to share:
- Give a comic touch to your writing creations. Read one such story here by writer Kasun Ranasinghe.
- Develop your story with a conclusion in mind. A useful tip that you can benefit from every day while writing. An article by Brad Creech.
I hope you enjoyed today’s episode. See you tomorrow.
