“Serve me for a month and I’ll save your life.” Lorenzo winks at you, “Seems like a fair deal.”
You can feel the poison burning through your blood.
“Let me help you!” Dara says suddenly. “I know a way.”
“How?” Lorenzo scoffs.
Dara plucks a handful of pale blue flowers from a nearby shrub.
“I can make a remedy using these.”
The old man laughs in her face.
“The archer wants to be an alchemist?” He laughs harder.
“I can do it,” Dara says “… I think.”
Out of the corner of your eye, you see cabin lights in the distance.
