When I started to write on Medium, I saw people writing about the $100 club.

Hitting a hundred in a month didn’t seem like something many could pull off. I didn’t have goals, so I didn’t pay any significant importance to this mark.

My wish was to improve my writing first, even though I know Medium has earnings potential.

I started to take Medium more seriously in the middle of December.

In January, my efforts started to have more impact. Unfortunately,

I underestimated myself and didn’t set the goal to reach the $100 mark since the beginning of it.

I set the goal in the last two days of the month when I saw I was close to it.

As you know, I failed to reach it.

My efforts weren’t enough. I only wanted to happen without doing something different.

Once February started, I set the goal to join the $100 club.

I knew I had to write and engage more while improving my articles to make this happen.

The goal started to be a desire. I wanted it! After I failed, I was more motivated than ever.

This is the 18th article for this month. I wrote in 14 days more than I wrote in January!

I wrote longer articles!

I upgraded to FOM!

I hit the 100-comment limit five times this month (eight times in total).

And what, Lucian?

I finally made it!

I AM IN THE $100 CLUB, NEAR THOSE WHO REACHED THE HUNDRED IN A MONTH!

It’s not even the middle of the month, and I got it.

I am happy I made it!

Also, I am proud of myself that I could make it.

I am grateful for your support!

Don’t get bothered by my sentimental outpouring, haha! For me, this milestone means a lot. It is not because of the money. I can’t even buy an air freshener for my Lambo.

It is proof that I am capable of making things work!

I don’t want to pride myself, but this is another lesson that efforts pay off.

My next milestone is to get $200 in one month. If I continue with this pace, I will get this too.
