Catch & Release
A Fibonacci poem about cat and mouse antics

It’s been a while since we had this situation but, it seems we were overdue the cat was awakened from her afternoon slumber her snoozing was interrupted by some noisy, uninvited guests (yes, guests plural)
I was alarmed at hearing such awful scratching unexpectedly coming from somewhere within the depths of my outdated kitchen little did I know it would quickly escalate into a Tom and Jerry chase scene
From room to room they scurried high stakes for the mice just a distraction to the cat who enjoys a full twenty-one hours of sleep per day unfortunately these two were totally interfering with her daily routine
In this instance luckily limited chaos I was more than a bystander with much practice I have become quite the mouse catcher specializing in a catch-and-release program, strongly to the cat’s disappointment
Thanks to MDSHall for the Fibonacci write-up and prompt!
