Blissful and Jubilant Steps in Life’s 4 Zones

Harmony of Comfort, Stretch, Risk, Danger, playing Wisdom’s Melody

Hey mates! So, I’ve been dishing out some humor in true-blue Aussie style, especially for senior folks like me, and one of my awesome readers threw me a curveball: “Hey Mike, ever tried your hand at poetry?” Now, I’ve jotted down a few verses in the past but never thought of sharing them.

Then came the real challenge from the loyal reader: “Mike, mate, why not give poetry a fair go? Can you write one and put it out there?” Intrigued and slightly thrown off, I thought, “Why not?” But where do I start?

I asked my go-to mentor Dr Mehmet Yildiz, who always gives me stunning ideas to get my creative juices to flow. Being the straight-shooting bloke he is, he asked me about my favorite story from his collection.

Tough one, considering they’re all ripper tales. But one story stuck with me, a game-changer that laid out a roadmap for living our best lives.

I spilled the beans on the story’s fancy name, and guess what? Dr. Yildiz suggested turning it into a poem. Well, the challenge was accepted! I wanted to let my creative juices flow onto your virtual pages.

So here I am, taking a crack at a poetic version of this absolute ripper of a story titled Here’s How You Can Enjoy Your Life More in Better Zones.

Stoked and Bloody Cheerful Strides in Life’s Zones

In the vast canvas of life, where dreams take flight, Why dwell in realms where mediocrity holds tight? Shun stagnation, nor settle in its grasp, Life’s vivid tapestry yearns for courage, an audacious clasp

Embrace the challenges, vast and profound, Let your mental framework from trials be crowned. No fortune needed, no endless time, With thought and planning, wisdom will chime.

In the crucible of trials, a lesson profound, A rhythm of triumph, from pain unbound. Stress once reigned, a crisis near, Nightmares haunted, whispers of fear.

Yet, a mentor’s wisdom, a radiant guide’s light, Transformed thoughts, sent nightmares to flight. In life’s grand ballet, a dance so rare, Comfort, Stretch, Risk, and Danger declare.

Risk, a gem, most brilliant by far, Unveils its wonders like a guiding star.

First, the Comfort Zone, a cozy retreat, In habits familiar, we find solace sweet. Yet, in its shadows, stagnation brews, A hindrance to growth, dreams it subdues.

Stretch Zone beckons, just beyond, Where challenges thrive, and growth is spawned. Healthy stress, a welcomed guest, Ignites the mind, puts it to the test.

Risk Zone unfolds, a dynamic stage, Where challenges beckon, on wisdom’s page. Success and failure, dance hand in hand, Lessons profound, like grains of sand.

Fear not the risk, the chance to fail, For in its depths, resilience sets sail. Creative minds, in this terrain, Find solutions swiftly, like the summer rain.

A dance with risk, a melody sweet, Turns uncertainty’s drum, in rhythmic beat. Opportunity blooms, where risks are sown, A truth well-known, to the wise ’tis shown.

But beware the Danger Zone, a treacherous ground, Where risks are excessive, and consequences profound. Workaholic flames, illegal fires, A perilous dance, a path that tires.

In the grand design, a takeaway clear, Dance between Stretch and Risk, have no fear. Optimal benefits, life’s symphony weaves, In the dance of success, where each heart believes.

No need for riches, nor wealth untold, Step out, embrace risk, let your story unfold. Euphoria awaits, in the dance of the wise, In the Stretch and Risk, where true living lies.

So, fear not the unknown, in life’s grand scheme, Step out, take risks, let your spirit gleam. Dance between zones, find joy in the strife, Transform your dreams, create your own life.
