So… Hello to you all! 👋
And welcome to probably the most crazy (and honest 😅) blog on Medium.
My name is Martynas Ki. (@strangecash) and here I try to write as best as I can, mixing humor, emojis and… serious stuff. 🤠
The main concept of my journey:
You can love me. You can hate me. But let’s grow together either way! 💪
With every story on Medium, I want to provide valuable insights to my readers. And give the so-called “time well spent” experience to them. In the very worst-case scenario, I just want to leave them with a “positive” mood boost for the rest of the day. 😅
So far my journey looks like this:
- Shortly after joining the platform, I wrote two stories about myself and why am I joining Medium. If you have a free minute or two (of course you don’t 😁), check them out, it’s a good intro into my life: (part 1) + (part 2)
- In the first few weeks or so, I received a comment from Mr. Tony Stubblebine who is the CEO of Medium! (story about that)
- Then I left Medium for a long and devastating 147 days and came back with starting these two Publications: “Short. Sweet. Valuable” and “Long. Sweet. Valuable”.
- And somehow (I really don’t know why 🤷♂️) the things began to go my way:
- I earned $173.25 in one single day! I think this is really HUGE when we talk about money earned on Medium! (story about that)
- Started my new “controversial” (😅) challenge of getting a Medium tattoo. (story about that)
- Spent the money earned from Medium “the right way”. This story is a bit tricky — there’s a hidden test inside! 😂 Check it out (here).
- Wrote a “poem” (😅) about Medium (here) and went on holiday to my homeland Lithuania. 💛💚❤️
- Came back in 2024 and saw a huge drop in everything. 😔 But I’m OK because not long after, I found out that Mr. Barack Obama also struggles on Medium sometimes! 😨😁 (My best story about Obama’s “turbulences” and victories on Medium can be found here)
So yeah! What a crazy ride! 🤪
But to tell you the truth all this time I was missing something… And that something is YOU! 🦸♂️
