Best Self-Help Podcasts to Transform Your Year
Master Your Life, Cultivate Self-Growth, and Thrive ❤
Self-help or self-improvement podcasts have been a great help for many people worldwide. It’s an intimate journey when you hear someone in your headset or earphones talking to you, telling you what you really need to hear.
Do you know what the best part is? It’s all free.
Sometimes, it is hard to hear the truth about why we procrastinate or why we feel stuck, depressed, sad, etc., yet when you hear someone who went through similar things as you but made it in the end, you tend to take them seriously and implement their advice.
Self-help podcasts have been a big part of my journey for many years as I had to navigate difficult events in my life, such as chasing after my dream of becoming a screenwriter after I studied engineering, moving 7000+ miles away from home and family to a strange country, and losing my dad unexpectedly when I was 27, which was last year.
Through these podcasts I’m going to refer to you today, I learned to embrace life the way it is, with its ups and downs. Mindset Mentor’s host Rob Dial, for example, says, “What if everything that’s ever happened to you happened for you?”
Let’s get into the best self-improvement podcasts to help you transform your mindset and life.
- Mindset Mentor

I’ve been listening to this podcast since 2022, and it really helped me shift my mindset into a more helpful and healthy approach. Rob Dial talks a lot about how we tend to blame the external for our failures, but once we start looking inside, we can transform our lives.
He really helped me focus on what I can do rather than be frustrated about what I cannot control. He also talks a lot about his own failures, for example, and his experience when his father passed away and what he learned from it.
Mindset Mentor is a great podcast if you want to transform your life and achieve your goals in 2024.
2. Help Me Be Me

Help Me Be Me is a great mindset and therapy podcast. Sarah May Bates is the host; her voice is so calming and soothing.
Her approach to therapy is unique. She provides an emotional toolkit to help with our inner peace. Her questions, tools, and journal prompts are thought-provoking, and she helps us navigate our inner world.
In some episodes, for example, she talks about how we should observe our own triggers and ask questions about those triggers to dive deep into our own inner world.
3. Don’t Tell Anyone with Pokimane

If you’re a gamer like me, you probably know who Pokimane is. She is a Morroccan-Canadian Twitch streamer and YouTuber who’s also known as the Twitch queen. Her streams have been watched around 220 million times.
I’ve watched Pokimane’s personal growth over the years, and she’s done a lot of self-work. This was because becoming big on the internet is not easy. It comes with a lot of haters and hate comments, and everything you do is out there in the world, so your mistakes tend to follow you for years.
Pokimane’s podcast is very new. So far, it has maybe 6 or 7 episodes, and I’ve listened to two of them over and over again. She comes from a place of having gone through it, and she found ways to deal with toxicity and cultivate inner peace.
The podcast is very fun and has funny moments as well as wise advice, so I definitely recommend this to people who want to have fun while learning.
4. Date Yourself Instead

I started this podcast recently, but it still makes the list because it’s a personal podcast. We listen to Lyss Boss’ experiences, life, and her approach to life. We experience her self-growth and self-love.
If you are looking to cultivate more self-love this year and want to listen to someone who can inspire you, Date Yourself Instead is a great self-help podcast!
5. OPENHOUSE with Louse Rumball and leading therapists

I definitely need to listen to more of this podcast, but I absolutely love expert guests talking about self-development and self-help tools. Not to mention, the host Louise’s engagement and voice add a layer of positivity as I listen to this podcast.
I always listen to podcasts when I’m walking my dog, working out, or while cooking, as I love learning new things and finding helpful things to implement into my life.
These are my top 5 self-help podcast recommendations, as I have listened to a ton of podcasts since 2020, and I think these five are very helpful. I hope you like them as much as I do, and thank you for reading!
As the writer of a podcast and a screenwriter based in Los Angeles, I’m hoping to help you more with discovering stories and yourself with more podcasts this year.
